Darts?
« on: January 08, 2007 »
Hey all

I am watching Darts at the moment....it going to be wide open for anyone to win it. I used to be brilliant at darts when I score 140 every now and then.
Does anyone like Darts or even play darts?

LET PLAY DARTS!  O0

Cheers

The last time I watched any darts on TV, Eric Bristow was playing. Is he still about?

I also heard, that they were bringing "Bullseye" back on the box.

Eric Bristow? I think he retire but I am big fan of Eric Bristow as I used watch Darts every time in the 80`S with my dad.

To be honest,in PDC World Championship Darts of today ARE not good as in 80`s in term of world class players such as John low, bob anderson, jocky wilson,Eric Bristow and more.

I do hope they bring Bullseye back because it is great program.

cheers

I think darts should be in the Olympic Games.  Along with snooker.  And off-road 4x4 driving.

Whenever I play darts I seem to do good until I got to get that finishing score. Then I allways end up gettng beaten after spending hours trying (unsucessfully) to get a double 1 or something.

WARNING: reminiscing..

I had a darts sporting injury as a kid :-). My idiot cousin decided to start throwing his darts as I was pulling mine from the board. One went right into the palm of my hand, point first.

Used to have a board in my small bedroom and the darts would bounce everywhere, into the TV, onto my Spectrum, into the dog. It was kinda like playing darts lottery. Had massively heavy darts too, inhereted from my Dad I think. More like javelins really. Man when they bounced you had to be careful.

Who was that commentator on TV that used to call the darts players "athletes" : he was well amusing. He sounded like he was a Geordie.

I enjoy a bit of darts, on good days. Overall, I'm average. But I never play average.
Either I am brilliant or I am hopeless.
