Greetings Exilepilot, and welcome to the forums.
Hi Exilepilot Welcome to DBF.
Thanks guys!

Hi Exilepilot ... it's cool to have a graphic designer who can code around. Do you have an online gallery of your art? Would be interesting to see.
Enjoy your stay.
I have an online portfolio, although it's not the most organized one. It contains really old work and some new, most of my good work is on DeviantART. I've progressed from manipulations to UI design, I'm also learning vector art which is really handy when creating game sprites/characters...etc
Hi Exilepilot, sounds like a very useful mix of skills to me! Welcome aboard.
Indeed, I use Lua in a game called MTA. It's an online version of GTA:SA, it uses C++ and has Lua virtual machine embedded into it, for server-side/client-side scripting which has grown over the years and gives you the choice to create pretty much anything (Within reason, obviously). I learned C from a 'C for dummies' book, which I finished within 3 weeks and found it very interesting. I progressed onto C++ which was a big move, using a language with object oriented capabilities was hard at first but I am most comfortable with it, but still got allot to learn.
I'm interested in programming syntax's, paradigms, how they're typed...etc.
I also have the slightest knowledge of Ruby, D, PHP, Java.
