Reality TV.
« on: February 17, 2007 »
I can't believe the shit and dross that is on television on every day of the week... If it's not Pop idol it's big bastard brother, Celebrity wankers on Ice.
What the heck happened to the good old days when on Sunday the telly would be shit. You'd have fish and chips, go to watch the telly and you'd have a double blow of Thora Hurd. First on Songs of praise and then on last of the summer fucking wine. I never thought that I'd actually hanker back to the days of Open all hours but TV is shit. It is shit, it is shittier than shit.

Switch over to ITV 2 now for dancing on ice defrosted... I mean ffs do me a favour.

What the fook do we pay for tv licenses for?

My verdict, play arcade and code. And post.

Which makes me wonder where everyone is tonight, don't tell me you're all watching celebrity fucking ice dancing?

Finally, someone speeks the truth!

Hey, open all hours wasn't that bad. Be nice if they showed some repeats of the young ones more often though. Now that's quality sit-com.

Switch over to ITV 2 now for dancing on ice defrosted... I mean ffs do me a favour.

We can only hope it defrosts while someone's on it and they get hurt.

What the fook do we pay for tv licenses for?

I'm not going to when I move out, I only ever watch dvd's nowadays anyway (no ad's and uncut). I can get away on a technicality, my tv is infact a pc monitor which doubles as tv. So If I don't plug it into an arial, I shouldn't have to pay... right?

Which makes me wonder where everyone is tonight, don't tell me you're all watching celebrity fucking ice dancing?

Zelda twilight princess dude. And just gaming in general. I'm stil playing what I got for christmas, cause I requested long lasting stuff, like SotC (30+ hours), canis canem edit (15+ hours), killer7 game cube versions (I can't count that high, if it were legal I would marry this game) and I've JUST got round to twilight princess, which promices 70+ hours of gameplay (and concidering I've only done 8 and covered about 1/10 of the world map, I believe this!!!). My friend also lent me Black last week, which has got a good 10 hours on it so far.

With all the swearing in your post, I get the feeling ck0 won't be able to read this thread! Shit fuck wank. There, now he can't.

I already knew where the TV was heading.....DOWNWARD and they(TV company) put shit program on TV and it is was biggest turn off for me.

The only TV that I watch are TOP GEAR, Waterloo, Match of day and uuuummmm any actions flims that is good(even thought I am not really flim fan as I can remmy when people went to CINEMA and watch TITANIC or lord of the ring, It was 3 and half hours flims.....which send me to Sleep.....I dont like 3 hours plus flims as it is TOO LONG!

TV over here is wholesale crap.  Ever wondered why Australians are so good at sport?  It's because it's sunny and there's f*** a** on the telly, so they go out and play sport.

Censorship would be a good thing considering the content of most reality tv programs. If only it was all censored.

Yet there are some things on tv that are too censored. When something airs at 10 at night, there is no need to beep out the f***ing swearing!

I watch it sometimes and find it strangely compelling... I don't like it but I have to watch it to the end once I have started. I don't know why.

Surely a bot or wot not.

over 3 years late to populate this topic with a few of my penny's worth.

im not a fan of reality tv, im glad that big brother is ending, or has ended.

I watch the auditions in the early stages of X Factor mostly if there's naff all on, they can be quite good. but they've changed it now to be identical to the other show with almost the same juddges - Britains Got Talent, in that it's infront of an audience so they feel even more nervous.

these shows are most probably rigged for entertainment value.

Channel 4's new policy: Big Brother has finished, so let's put something out right away to fill the gap that would be left in the schedule this time next year with something that only lasts 1 week.

It's a step in the right direction, having only last 1 week. Apparently, we can control their lives. Can we control them to go to the office where they come up with these ideas and punch someone in the face? That might be enjoyable reality TV. :boxer:

Reality TV reeks of "money-making".  How many times do I have to watch Big Brother reincarnated on the same timeslot?

Internet is the new shit!
