Maybe it would be a good idea to give some more details here. If you already have coded this
in blitz3d - maybe you post a link to the exe or give some Screenshots !? Maybe that would
attract more ppl here !?

Yeah well I will post something (maybe screenies anyway) tonight when I get home. But I will have to think about posting exe as there are some ideas that are unique I think.

I will say this: this aint rotating chessboard, starfield, rotating cubey sinescroller thing I'm thinking of. (not oldschool) more abstract type of stuff. So be forewarned.

This will give some hint of the types of things involved. But really there is much more than this. :)    http://dbfinteractive.com/index.php?topic=950.msg13961#msg13961

Tks Man, but if u can't commit time and energy to it, it won't happen. Been through this before. Would like to see some of your finished prods,

no no i would never start something that i dont intend on finishing usually it takes me a day or two to get fully into a project but once im there ive seen me sitting for hours till its done.

im not a prod man as such i usually do a bit here and a bit there ( games and ideas/concepts ) but i do know how a lot of demo effects are constructed, to date heres a run down of what ive experimented in.

freebasic.
blitz2d.
c/cpp.
asm.
yabasic.

here are the platforms ive coded for.
pc
gba
nintendo Ds
Psp( just started though )

And here is a couple of api`s ive dabled in.
OpenGl
GDI/Windows

now as to what degree ive messed around in each area well ive been with c/cpp for a while as is freebasic and blitz ive only scratched the surface of asm/gdi though and i have a bit of understanding with opengl.

Update : It was a valiant try, but this is a dead project. Thanx  Ninogenio for your hard work on this. Perhaps I will release this in gigantic exe  b3d form.

I had a CTO once, and I'm dead serious here, who wanted a bonus scheme for my softies. He figured out that most young software engineers don't get too many women. So straight up he comes to me one day, explains he is looking for a bonus scheme and what did I think about the idea of hiring hookers for the hardest working engineers each month.

After asking the budget, I couldn't see it working. How motivating would a 60 year old toothless woman smelling of marmite be?

no problem mate.

i just couldnt get this quite right, its just a shame that blitz spits out such big files as the code bill made in blitz is far better than anything i could do.
