Who's watching Eurovision?

Will Uk get any points? We don't deserve them :P Terry Wogan is properly pissed as usual, getting interesting now, the voting is going on as I write this.

It was vintage Terry tonight, but he seemed happy at least that Britain got some points.

I listen to his breakfast show every day on Radio 2, the man is a legend :) You can probably hear it off the radio 2 website.

It's on here later tonight - don't spoiler!!  I'm pretty sure we're getting the 'Wogan feed' again this year...

One of the years that Ireland was hosting the eurovision we held it in a massive cow shed (seriously) it helped to mask the smell of bs

I agree the song was so "we are in your face and we love Britain" it engendered anti-UK votes which as an ex pat I canm assure you are hanging around in the ether looking for an excuse to manifest.

Jim Im interested how the Uk is perceived in Au right now?

Australia generally don't care about the pommes.  There's no particular love or hate.  The amusing thing is most people say given a straight vote about becoming independent or remaining in the Commonwealth they'd vote for the former.   But it's not something at the top of the social conscience.  They're more interested in thrashing England at sports, like cricket, rugby and soccer.
