Is it tied between having a code snippets forum and not having one ?
Or is it tied on the type of snippets forum to have, if thats the case then perhaps we can discuss why we think it should be one way or the other and perhaps reach a suitable solution :)

I would suggest a seperate section because the coding section is already devided into languages, and I am not sure that you can make sub areas under those categories with this type of forum.

I'm personally in favor of one in each category. It makes it a lot easier to find what you're looking for.

Yes, it would, but it would only work if this forum is capable of using sub-categories, otherwise you would have to have all code examples in the same thread and not a have one thread per example, if that makes sense.

Nah, you wouldnt, it would just mean a new category called CodeSnippets, with a list for the areas to post into.
It seems that people are in request of a seperate code snippets; even though some don't think it neccassary, if it was to remain as sticking questions and routines into one area, it will become very disorganised and confusing. It would be a nice addition and make for easier browsing. Thats all Im going to say on the matter.

End.

I think what Zawran means is that if the board can support  sub sections then have a seperate code snippets section under each languages main section. But if it cant then have just one code snippets section and then perhaps get posters to prefix the header of the topic with the language used :)

The board can support sub forums.
It's tied between having one and not having one btw.
