You could use the Slippy's DLL :
http://dbfinteractive.com/index.php?topic=2063.0

Alternatively, Shockwave posted a source here :
http://dbfinteractive.com/index.php?topic=1865.msg27828#msg27828

Didn't got it to work, though.

@Slippy:
Would it be a lot of work to strip down your engine and release a future composer
replayer static / dynamic lib only ? I would be definately interested in this, too !

I have the OSMEngine at home on my HD. I will upload it when I am back home ...

@energy:
Ok. Here is the version I found on my hd. AFAIK it is the current release.
Because the forum allows attachment of max 300kb I temporarily uploaded
it onto my webspace. So, please download it as soon as possible and drop
me a line when you successfully downloaded it :

http://www.weltenkonstrukteur.de/ext/osmenginev092.zip

@slippy:
hope it is ok - if I cross post your release here. if not - drop me a line and
I remove it immediately.

Hey,

@benny!: I don't mind - actually I'm quite happy that there's somebody out there who can provide the libs as my ISP is moving to another hoster. This should have been finished three days ago - but they keep running in severe problems ... thus my website isn't reachable for an unknown time. In fact that pisses me off but there's nothing I can do in the meantime ... anyway :)

Here's a stripped down DLL for your needs - it's just capable of replaying FC songs now ... I didn't optimize it ... but if you want I'll have a deeper look into this :)

If you want to have a static lib please drop me a PM with your email and your prefered coding environment (VS or DevCPP or FB) and I'll send it to you ... as I'm lacking webspace atm :)

Have fun ...
SLiPPY

@slippy:
Awesome. Thanks a lot for the stripped version. Simply awesome !!! K++.
If you find time - a static lib would just be totally amazing. I prefer to use
Visual C++ Express 2oo5.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for your ISP problems.

Okay dudes,

wasn't that much time spending on this ...

here are the static FC-only libs for VS2005 and FB (and DevCPP/MinGW/GCC)

Later,

I'm sure that we'll get it working for you, but a quick request and I don't mean to be picky, but that pic you uploaded there is 1400*900 and 126 kb just to show what error message you got.

Couldn't you have done that with some plain text? :)

126 kb is a lot to just show an error message, nearly 500mb of files online atm makes me a little bit twitchy about server space.

Just to keep this posting on top ... I'm currently working on a native FC player lib (+ DLL) ... it'll be ready for release soon ... :)

Actually there's no need to use the OSMEngine for FC-replay only as the new library will be much smaller :)

A static lib with a simple player will compile (and kkrunchy-ied) to 10240 Bytes atm.

The DLL is a bit bigger - but who cares?! :)

Stay tuned for the release in a few days here ... :)

Cheers,
