My chiptune

I composed this song longtime ago, but never tought about it to make a chip version for it. But finally I gave it a try but a friend of me said the chiptune sounds like a car engine (the instruments), what I want if you opinion about my chiptune. Its not finished because Im worried about the instruments and in my opinion it sounds a bit dry.

It sounds pretty good to me in fact.
The tune is obviousy not finished yet, perhaps you could add a few sound channels and give it some more drums etc to make it sound more ruling.
This would make a nice cracktro tune when it's finished.

I modified the drums, just used an effect they sound much better. Im not sure but does anyone use the 1xx and 2xx effects for drums? I will finish it this week.
