Hiya,

does anyone of you plan to attend to this years
breakpoint party ? I never really have been to a
real big demoparty - but I am thinking about going
this year. Although I am not 100% sure if I have
spare time.

Anyway - if someone is going -do you plan to re-
lease something ? Are you maybe already working
on a production for Breakpoint '08 ?

I would love to go to something like this just to learn new things and get a better grasp on the field. If you can swing it I would encourage you to go. It is often very nice to have discussion with people about a subject that you both hold dear.

The compolurker-ticket sounds good. Though
the 4k competition is already on saturday and
this interests me the most. Will see. Although
having a nice party/comp/boozing evening from
sunday to monday is also a good compromise.

I would like to be at Breakpoint this year..

Reasons for;

I have the easter weekend off.
I have had a small amount of money from an unexpected source this week.
There are at least 10 of my friends going to be there and lots of others who I would dearly love to meet.

Reasons against;

Really awkward travel arrangements mean that I would have to travel to london to get a direct flight to the airport, or drive to hull and get the ferry, disembarking in zeebrugge and having to drive the rest of the way.

Awkward family time at the moment as Jacob is teething and not very well.

I'd also like to take Mel and Jacob to Germany so that they could have a look around while I am at the demo party, but I am not ssure Mel would want to go.

Yeah. That would be definately a pro argument
for me - if you are also there. Also, I just
booked my flight to Canada for April this year.
I am flying just 10 days after the party. Have
to check how expensive a weekend in Bingen
will be - because the Canada trip is going to be
expensive :-(

also would love to go there ... but in this time i will move from berlin to frankfurt.. so its not the right time for going to a party.. but frankfurt /main is just 50 min away from bingen.. so i will go there next year for sure!.

I need to read what the pros/cons are.
