[Reduced res] Tricolours
« on: August 10, 2008 »
Well heres my latest entry into the low res and four colours competion.
It took a bit of working out to get the timing right so i didn't end up with more the four colours on the screen.I think i succeeded.Hope you like this simple entry.

Nice idea. Maybe you could expand it to show some 4
colored flags in order to have somekind of olympic theme
to it.

A nice little abstract demo.  :skint:

I think you should expand on this a bit. ;)

If you can imagine the pic Hotshot posted with the sine wave travelling through the flag you'll get the idea of how to make it look like it's waving in the breeze :)

Thanks for posting that Hotshot i now get what you mean.I just now need some help to
get this in my rectangles please. This is my sub

Code: [Select]
DECLARE SUB RECT(BYVAL x1 as integer ,BYVAL Y1 as integer , BYVAL X2 AS INTEGER , BYVAL y2 as integer , BYVAL FILLED, BYVAL COL)
This part of my loop to move the flag and change colour

Code: [Select]
if dx=0 then x2=x2+.5
IF DX=0 THEN COLOUR=ORAN'
IF X2>78 THEN DX=1'
IF DX=1 THEN COLOUR=RED'
IF DX=1 THEN X2=X2-.5'
IF X2<0 THEN DX=0'

The part of the program you need to change is the actual sub you use to draw the rectangles.

It would work exactly the same in principle as the sine dots and the atom that you posted.

If you have a sub to draw a rectangle out of dots or lines then you need to vary the y position with a nice waveform as you go along it.
