Thanks fellas :)

It's nice to be back. I am hopefully going to get the comp together today. Just made a little tutorial to help people rip resources from amiga demos.

Hey Shocky,

seeing you work so hard on the portal - just wanted to know how your
recovery is going ? Hope everything is going better day by day for you.
And moving from one room to the other with a cup of coffee is getting
better now ;-)

All the best.

Coffee relay is something I am getting great at now :)

Carrying a full cup of anything is pretty difficult on crutches so using one crutch, taking a step and moving the cup forward on the floot one step at a time is an art ;)

Recovery.. Hmm. Well I had the staples removed from my leg last Friday, I have this plaster cast for another 4 weeks, then I'll have a different cast that I can hopefully put a little bit of weight on. Four weeks after that I think I'll need another small operation to remove some of the steel in my ankle.

I'm used to it now, I can manage a sitting of about an hour and a half before I need to rest my leg so I tend to code as much as I can in that time and then watch a bit of telly :)

Life's not so bad.

I do find that the worst thing is being at home and worrying about when my sick pay will stop and not being able to do anything about it tbh.

The portal will help keep my mind off it though. I am enjoying it :)

Don't know the political/health situation in the UK, but I hope that there are instances
that do care for that. I'll keep my finger crossed. Maybe you have the chance now to
get a PHP/Webdeveloper job. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

SSP is about £70 per week, that's not a lot of money really.. I think we'll be ok for a while though.

The hosting here is paid for for quite a long time anyway ;)

Thanks Clyde, that's kind of you to say :)

I am going shopping tonight, it's only to Morrissons but it's a real treat! Hehe I haven't been outside for ages.

Still can't get around very well but I'm on the mend I think mate.

"The family", especially Jacob are keeping me busy.
