With all these social networking sites, I wonder if there are any anti-social networking sites.

I'll create my own, where I will be the only member allowed.

In the meantime - what are the advantages of facebook over not using it? I've never felt the need to visit the site. Lots of people say they've used it, but they have never told me why.

For me personally - I have found quite a lot of schoolfriends that for one reason or another never signed up for friends reunited etc. Also I can publish the fact that RCM has an event - so it reaches even more people - basically free advertising.

Just my personal opinion though . . . :)

Face Book is much simpler and cleaner to use than My Space and Twitter in my opinion and FaceBook would be the one I'd recommend. Also features quite alot of addons called Applictations on there.

You can find me as my full nickname Clyde Radcliffe, and for those who know my real name im on there as well ( check my sig for the real me )

Why two you ask?

Well one I drastically need more mafia members for Maffia Wars; which Im highly addicted too. A small plee ( will only take a minute or two ) Please If I send you an invite I'd really appreciate it if you could a/ accept and b/ just play the introductory stuff, all you need do is click on the relevant boxes when they come one, otherwize you wont register as being in my Mafia clan. If you dont want to then fair play; no harm in asking.

And also because it increases your number of friends you know. I dont know many people, other than family; and friends of the family and a few people who have recently got into the vibe of FB. Will have to check if I can remember some of my school pals, and if they remember me; doubtfull as alot about my appearance has changed over 15 years.

_> Ok, Clyde stops rabbiting.

Cheers and hope to see you there, and if you'd be so kind in my maffia gang.

It seems to be really popular with the people where I now work, most of them are quite a lot younger than me.

I look at it every now and again, a couple of times a week maybe but I'm struggling to see the advantages of it over real contact with human beings to be honest.

One thing I have found, apart from old & new chums.

Is that there are alot of eMillionaire money making scams, claimming you can make money from google by entering links, just by paying with a credit card $1 for some kind of special tool that allows you to setup an account with Google, and they monitor what you do per day and pay accordingly. If you read the small print, you are open to all kinds of privacy stuff, also in very small text is stuff about automatically being deducted from your account what looks to be $36 per month.

If  however I am wrong about working from home, entering links all day to be richer and it's true. Then I would absolutely love to find out more info, by omitting the middle man and going straight to the big guns google themselves. What a job that would be.

This is no doubt a very cleverly thought up scams, some of the stories from peoples claims are very believable, but misleading.

Why am I bothering to tell you, basically I get sick of these ads ( you'll see countless ones on your profile tab ) and have reported them, if you'd be kind, please could you. Click the thumb down underneath them to choose why you dislike them. And they will temporarily dissapear until next time you come back.

But if you know how to work for Google entering links for a few hours a day, would be a nice little earner.

Ok, speech over.

Chin Chin,
Clyde.

There are also a lot of very clever scripts and bots trawling Facebook trying to scam you. Facebook seems to be massively resource heavy too, especially the lame instant chat, I fucking hate that.

Doesn't anyone else think that Facebook is a monumental waste of disk space?
