Finally got copcube working.

The bug was my fault, uppercase instead of lower.  No data = no cube!

Hmm,looks like the cpu discovered acid! (-:

So that`s what the copper did in the Amiga.  I did know someone who got one of the first that shipped to Melbourne.  The genlocker was PAL in - NTSC out though - shame.  Amiga users seemed to have trouble beleiving other computers didn`t have a blitter - odd.  I think it would have been possible to do effects in the border on a Tandy colour computer, but there`s only two colours to do it with.  irq and firq were derived from tv sync, but pal version had two gaps in firq where extra lines were inserted.  Oops!


I`ve run a few on a real PS2 now, a half dead one that doesn`t play CDs.  It`s hooked up to a 27" tv so demos can look impressive!

Ah I remember it now.

There are some pretty bad fill bugs on that routine, it runs at full frame rate in the emulator.. As I recall it was kind of slow on a PS2 :)

Just typed blurr the other week, not too bad.
copcube runs better on PS3, sounds like its like the emulator.

I`ll have to take ya word forit.  I haven`t run it on a PS2 yet.  I did see some gaps while I was debugging with a patch to print veriable values on the text screen.

The text screen is massively slow!

Now, where`s that PS2 memory card.

Nice effect I was sure that I went through all the demos on that archive but cant remember this one. Then again there are a lot of demos in that list
