Very nice indeed mate; quite similar to my entry idea dude.

You might want to check your left boundaries checks, as i can see on my PC with XP, lines going up and down the first coloumn. it also crashes after exit.

Hum? Weird, I don't have any bug on linux, i'll check this out

edit : arf in fact I have the "left column bug" too, I just didn't noticed it xD

It's like watching glowing particles through a microscope, or a very smooth time lapse through a telescope.

This would be a great screen saver.

Looks kinda like fire flies.

The window is very small, any chance it will work at 800x600 with more blobs?

Jim > Well it's feasible in 800x600 but that would be more than 2x slower (I may post a bigger version in the future but this version is the final one for the comp

I've just realised - this one reminds me of a lava lamp, which can be a difficult thing to code.
