Evoke 2009
« on: July 31, 2009 »
Is anybody attending Evoke this year / Weekend ?

Ko0x and Jojo of Gravity, will be meeting for the first time there.
Or will you be following the party / event via Demo Scene TV?

Cheers,
Clyde.

I was asked to provide a demo for Evoke, i just looked at the categories and again no PC Intros category - only for real 4 and 64k's. Plus I dont have a similar spec to their comp PC which is pretty state of the art fancy pants setup. also it needs to run in 1280x720.

Judging by the respone to this, dont think anyone is. If you are and your shy at posting have a good time.

@Clyde,  Well an intro is ment to be a small demo and given what the scene can currently do in 4k & 64k its not really suprizing the only 2 intro comps are 4k and 64k. However the main demo compo covers up to 64meg unzipped so you could always enter something into that compo  :)

I hope there will be some interesting stuff there, the most recent crop of demos i have looked at on pouet just seem uninteresting, none of them have really made me want to give them a second viewing which alot of older demos do  :(

today's scene lacks "soul" (you know what I mean, right?) ... too much eyecandy alone...
