Intel has showed their new single core chip "cloud computer" features 48 cores! O.O More infos are available here:

Looks like all those cores built so close together needs a serious cooling system.
(looks at the spec)
That's a lot lower than I expected - peak power consumption of 125W!
If that turned up in a Mac, would that make them Apple cores?
