Hello,
First of all I would like to give a big thanks to this forum. Looking through all the threads has helped me a lot in my programming, plus it is just very interesting. Second, I thought I would post up a left behind (someone made fun of the graphics and it put me off) attempt at a game I began making in Yabasic a little while ago. I hope it provides a slimmer of... enjoyment? or something, to somebody somewhere

as well as showing that new ppl are still coming to yabasic and enjoying it.
It is a game basically where you play a homeless person wandering the streets begging for money with the aim to stay alive and regain your sanity. The controls may be a bit confusing; when sitting down begging you press O to hold out your hands, TRIANGLE to see the menu, and R1 to get up/ leave. I think the rest are explained in game... also there are 3 areas that aren't really marked as of yet, they are along the side of the road though, where shops and things ought to be. I hope they aren't too difficult to find.
Also to note - this is very, very incomplete. There are ways to regain the sanity but it is just bare basics. Furthermore, I am a beginning programmer and this is a VERY terrible example of code (if you are concerned I have slightly improved since this, though all tips and criticism is very welcome) so, please, if terrible programming is painful to your eyes, turn back now!

Finally, thanks to Jim Shaw and Shockwave for everything they have done, and long live Yabasic for the PS2!
