at last i´m now challenging DB.
« on: October 10, 2011 »
first i wanna say ello to the community.

i came from the old DOS days as we cracked games like DARKSEED1 and all the other ones. ages ago.
later in the end of the 90ties i begun coding on the PlayStation 1 for groups like: PARADOX, LIGHTFORCE, UNDERCOVER-AGENTS and OTHERS.
PA2NTSC SELECTORS and TRAINERS.
you wanna see something?  visit my Youtube Channel.

after challenging some PC intros i found out that my wanted work is limited by the used Interface. no ANTIALAISING no SEMI TPT  :(
fast i encounter limitations of things i wanna do as i did on PS1. no way no ideas how to :( ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY4ULAmp2gs&feature=channel_video_title

that's why I'm now try out DARK/ PURE BASIC and I'm glad that i found this FORUM.

I hope some of you Guys can give me start up in coding when i got questions.

that's all at the moment. when i have time I'll do come back with first tryouts in DB

My favourite out of the two is the Black Ops Loader, but it is interesting how you can work with vastly different art styles and make them both look great.
