Art Engine 2012
« on: December 05, 2011 »
Hey!

I don't know if I'm in the right place or if it's an acceptable thing to do but...
Well, I would like to invite you guys to participate in our compos! :)

Art Engine 2012 is a brazilian demoparty, it's being organized 15 years after Z97. Make part of the history of the South American demoscene too! :)

Microsoft Internet Explorer limits the potential of the world wide web for its commerial interests. Sorry, but this page will not support it. Please download an alternative browser.

So why not write a website thats compatible with all browsers? It aint that hard. Limiting your user base is a bad idea no matter what the reason.

Hi Dan,

I think it's really cool that you are organising a party in Brazil and thank you for the invitation for us to enter your challenges!
I've moved this topic to General Discussions as we have our own comp going on at the moment and your topic might get buried.

Good luck with it mate :)

Well, yes, it's ideological. We don't support IE and we will do our best to banish it to the dark realm. :P
The deal is that I'm not limiting the user base, if you want to see the page, you can simply download a new browser. It's not hard to do and it does no harm to anyone.
I'm trying to do my part to have a better Internet. Organizing this party, for me, isn't about money. I want to invite people to know something new. And why not start with a new browser? It's my first invitation. In next editions of the party, I hope I can use the full capability available of the Open Web Technologies and then you would a new world to explore with only few clicks.
