Anti google malware?
« on: December 10, 2011 »
Dunno if it's just something up with my settings, but for the past 4-5 hours or so I've been unable to load ANY google-affiliated website (search, G+, youtube) so I'm starting to suspect malware. Anyone heard anything about this?

I'm starting to think if it is malware, it's commissioned by yahoo; who else has as much to gain from such a move? I've been using yahoo for the best part of the day now...
I love semi-colons way too much ^^;

If you're still experiencing this problem, try:

1. Downloading Combofix: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
2. Disconnect from the internet
3. Disable your antivirus - if you're disconnected from the internet, you can't download new viruses.
4. Run Combofix - it will restart your computer a few times.
5. When Combofix is finished, re-enable your antivirus and then reconnect to the internet.

Then try accessing the affected Google websites.
