I run a computer programming club at a school in the UK. We used to use Flash8, but we have changed to using C#.

If you have limited funds, I'd recommend using either JavaScript or one of the languages supported by SharpDevelop, which is free.

I can help you to get started with C# graphics functions, but some of our other forum members know more about C# than I do, and will be able to assist if I cannot.
