castle story anyone?

i'm not really a gamer, but a coworker told me about this yesterday a few hours before their kickstarter went live and i was hooked.

they had a goal of 80k, had broken that within 5 hours, and now have 180k as i post this less than 24hrs later

Looks like a cross between Lego Constructor, Rampart, Command & Conquer (without vehicles) and Minecraft.

Wow, that looks really cool!

Shame I never play pc games anymore (except for non installed games) as I spend way too much time hunching over my laptop already and really try to tear myself away from it as much as possible.

me too, but this absolutely is the kind of game i would love to play, and also love to write if i ever had the time!

looks like this was bumped by a spammer? but anyways.. the prototype for kickstarter buyers is out.. the original version was buggy and had bad controls, theres an update with lots of fixes that i've not had time to try yet. some people are making cool looking castles with it. will be good when the real gameplay/quest elements turn up
