A lot of stuff back then mainly coin op licenses and TV licenses were really badly made because of tight deadlines.
I've had a think about this because the fucking shit games tend to not leave such a dent in the memory and I've had a hard time doing it, however, here are my least favourite piles of cat sick;
In reverse order;
3: Revolution X on the SNES was a complete pile of shit. It was basically a tie in for cool rock group Aerosmith and you had to fight government dudes with your music, I hated it after only one play I waned to chew the joypad into lots of small pieces.
2: Rise of the Robots (loads of platforms) in 1994, was really hyped and even got some ok reviews, however the game was not released for review to most mags until the product was out. The graphics looked cool enough but I would have rather had my ears syringed than play it, you could only control one robot and the gameplay was too difficult.
1: Um Jammer Lammy (Phoney Gaystation) Which was a follow up to Parappa the Rapper (which was ok..ish I guess) But since I really detested this sort of game idea from the outset, it has to be number one for me. I'd have loved to see the lamb cut into medallions after being slowly raped with a broken bottle.
Totally irritating. Even worse than Pouet.
