@chris:
designing a site is really a pain in the a** especially when you want to make it browser
compatible. I used a wordpress template / design by jide for my site and adapted the
template to use it in Typo3.

But in the end, it's the content which counts. Your blog's subject is rather unique and
I guess you as the blogger is the perfect person for that topic. Hope that you keep your
blog running ...

WHY Blog?

I think it is good to have blog because there will be some people out there want to read your blog to know what you been doing or what you been coding on.

There another good thing why having blog is good because it keep you on toes and making you work harder as when people out there who read your blog and you release a demo or game or whatever then they( people out there) will say HE is the action man who get his JOB done rather than person who is all talk and no actions then the blog would be USELESS to read if Coder couldnt get his job done.

I am sure you all understand or know what I mean.

cheers

p.s. I have blog as well  :kewl:

Added a little subdomain to my site on which I can throw up various
experiments (mostly web-based).

http://labs.weltenkonstrukteur.de

Have a look on it if you like ...

Mostly Win32 remakes of Amiga cracktros. I wish I had time to release some code though... maybe in the near future
We once had a passion
It all seemed so right
So young and so eager
No end in sight
But now we are prisoners
In our own hearts
Nothing seems real
It's all torn apart

Just changed my blog software. Before my site ran with
Typo3 CMS. I really didn't like it - in my eyes it is way too
unintuitive. That's why I finally changed to Wordpress.
I really like it.

New blog running with Wordpress is here:

http://www.weltenkonstrukteur.de

Old blog is temporarily here:

I know I've listed this in a seperate topic, but I thought it might be more useful in here:

Since I have all this Windows Live stuff on this new computer I thought I would try some of it out and set up a Windows Live space:

Just some random stuff there.

Since I am not using www.weltenkonstrukteur.de anymore - I created a small
livepage/micro-blog system on a new domain:

http://www.bennyschuetz.com

Atm, it is mostly just a live-site for my tweets. More will be implemented in
future. This time I did not use a system/cms like before - all self-coded.
I use my own framework which bases on Smarty, Zend Framework and jQuery.
