Can't stay logged in
« on: October 19, 2006 »
I have to log in everytime I visit this forum, and I do use the flag "stay in forever". I'm using Firefox 1.5 and I'm staying logged in on any other site.

I do, but I don't give a shit. My browser stores my name and passwords, so clicking a buton doesn't really put a damper on my day or anything. Can't say it happens with other websites though. I also use firefox, if that is the sorce of the problem

I find the fact that so many people still use internet explorer to be quite appalling

I use both FireFox and IE7, and find no problems with staying logged in.

Gave up on IE last week.  The release of IE7 is even worse than the beta versions.  So I went to Firefox.  It's OK.  I'm reserving judgement because I really liked IE6.  Firefox 1.x was fine for logging in, but now I've upgraded to 2.0 I can't stay logged in either.  Something to do with the way FF wants to remember passwords.  I'll let you all know if I fix it.

Well, I don't get that login problem. And I use FF 1.5 on this PC, and 2.0 RC3 on my lappy.. Works fine on both. (Although, in order for the saved-login to work, I have to visit a page on the forum after first showing up.)
