Having hard time picking which computer I want !

Hiya all,

I havnt had computer for two months but I keep borrowing sarah`s computer for one week( as she got Internet voda connections data card which I think it is FAB as U dont have pay for PHONE LINE...thank godness me.)

I wish I did have clear mind on which computer I want as it either build computer up or just buy 1GHZ Laptop(which is cheap on ebay)
I do know the fact that some of my mates saying core 2 duo is very good computer and I should build myself up for new computer even thought I am UPTIGHT with my moneys at the moment.

So it look like I will have get 1GHZ Laptop which will be fine for working 3DWORLD STUDIO/BLITZBASIC and games(such as Command & Conquer) and hopefully I should get Internet voda connections as well.

You can get a lot of computer for not much money at the moment.  I've got a couple of c. 1GHz machines sitting around doing nothing and I suspect I'm not the only one - so don't pay more than postage to buy one of them - they're worthless.  If you buy anything new try to get a Core Solo, which should be entry level for now.

It's free to a good home, but it's here in Australia.  It would cost more to post it than it is worth.

I just bought AMD 1GHZ computer( computer tower) for £50 on ebay and now I can get on with things.

It seem that I got good eyes for Bargin stuff! LOL 

I will try get Laptop computer next for like travelings as my parent live in blackpool and if I go on train then It would be good idea to bring laptop eh?
