I hope people don't mind me registering here (if not feel free to delete my account), but I thought I would add a little info here as I do seem to have been given a bit of a bashing in other posts over here.
Just to let people know, there is not real difference in the indi and commercial versions apart from licence (seat in pro vs individual in commercial), priority support and access to pre-release versions. So I fully expect most people to just go for the £30 version.
There is no time limit on the demo (as people will find out very soon).
Cobra has no link now to Idigicon, but they have the rights to a 'lite' version, for education.. They have the contacts etc to make that happen.
Other posts mentioned how I quickly removed posts which which "idigicon wouldn't like", well, I actually remove ANY posts which slagg off suppliers / competing products, and I will continue to do so.. It does not represent a link to Idigicon, or anyone else (I've removed a couple of DBpro slagging posts too).
Anyway, I'm hoping that I'll have a language which will be quick enough for people over here to do some good demos, although Shockwaves comment about potential bloat is pretty accurate, Cobra does produce similar exe sizes to B2D/B3D.. Sorry, not going to get lean mean assembler level demos here, but the speed isn't bad for pixel level operations etc.. But, you never know, once I open up access to the inline assembler code there may be some potential for smaller exe's
