[Amiga 30th Anniversary] Just a Dream
« on: September 30, 2015 »
This is my entry, which started as "Battle Squadron Win32 Remake" project name and ended as  just a dream  :P

Ofcourse, It's lots of work to really remake it properly and this is just what I was capable to do ( not much :( ).

Press space bar on menu screen to start playing.
Use the cursors keys to navigate and space bar to fire.

Warning! Bugs included, lots of them. :)

Enjoy!

Ambitious idea! ;) Nicely done and looking good so far! Some fat explosion sounds would have made it even a wet dream for me. ;D

Battle Squadron was one of my favourite Amiga games. The Android port by the original programmer is ace btw.

Nicely done! I loved this game (and it's predecessor Hybris).

Really nice RBZ! :D I don't think I ever played Battle Squadron, but it reminds me a lot of Xenon II, which I used to love. Awesome stuff!

My antivirus reports the zip file as infected with some kind of malware :( I'm sure it's a false positive.

False positive for sure, the .exe file isn't even packed by any kind of exe packer to just not trigger any anti-virus!
Original exe size is 33.280 bytes and I checked the attached file, it's all Ok.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments, btw, one of my motivations for doing this particular game is because it was the very first thing I've ever saw on the Amiga, and I really dreamed with it until I was able to buy my amiga and played until my fingers get hurt :).
