I agree that it takes alot of time and effort to make decent digital art, for the current intro I am making it took me several hours to get the logo were it currently is and it's to be honest a very simple logo by most standards. While drawing it I was chatting to Zawran who also spent a fair bit of time on a logo and a font, I think so far I have spent more time on the logo than I have on the entire code
It isnt easy to go from traditional media to digital, I have found it very difficult and My father who is a very decent artist, both with oils and watercolor has found it difficult and did describe it as having to learn to draw again. But it's part of the hobby for me and as long as i enjoy it I will keep plugging away
