Hi mate, I think you'll enjoy yourself here.. lots of effects routines and theories to be found. I enjoyed that course too, and my first objective is to see if I can hook into some kind of way of getting graphics on screen with Vb.net or c#.. I liked the look of c# much more than Vb though to be honest.

There are plenty of object for graphics in .net as far as I know. The obvious one being direct X

C# nice, though he did not mention it, Im pretty sure you can use C++ in .net if you know hat better

I dabbled with C++ and made a few console apps, didn't take it much further though.
I'm downloading the Visual Studio Express Iso with C++, Vb and C# now
