Hello Everybody
I have been following these boards for a while but I'm only just now creating my introduction. I have been interested in the demo-scene for about 8 years or so now. I've tried coding in the past but I was young and gave up too easily but now I'm ready to take it on. I have decided to use BlitzMax since it looks like a great starting point for beginners and also for the fact that it's compatible with OSX if I ever decided to play around with that (I'm on a MacBook - running Windows XP via Bootcamp). These boards have a wealth of information and I'm looking forward to contributing to and being a part of this community.

Hi Everybody, sorry for my english.
I'm not sure what I'm doing here, I just really hope to learn some of this amazing logical art. I'm an architect and 3d/2d artist, and as you can imagine I'm a very basic programmer, but if I can contribute somehow with this forum I'll be glad to.

Hi there, I started loving demos since I was about 14 years old. I've had a C64 and later an Amiga 500. I still have both machines somewhere on my roof truss. I started making music with Sidmon on the C64 and went over to the Protracker/Fasttracker on Amiga. Nowadays I'm mostly working with Cubase, no more tracking. I found this website since I'm interested into coding some demos for fun. But I don't know how to start. Now that I found dbf I'm looking forward to learn something. I hope some day I can code my own demo. Some oldschool stars, sinescroll, color bars .. you name it. Well, yeah that's pretty all for now. Hope my english is understandable, I'm from germany :) Oh my age? I'm 39.
cheers,
neriakX
