:hi: rocketman413, robotics sounds really awesome, love to see a robot demo sometime! I saw this ballbot a couple of days ago and thought it was pretty cool.

Greetings rocketman413.

I've always thought of putting together a 3D robotic demo. Perhaps we could compare notes.

Hello!

Well... I'm Den. I got caught in the demoscene stuff some 20+ years ago, when I joined a group named Phoenix on the Amiga.

I'm primarily a musician, but I also did some gfx at the time, and a little 68k asm.

I've been coding in different languages since (not demo related) and today I'm trying to learn C++.

I thought it would be interesting to do so by studying some (preferably oldskool) demo fx code on the way.

And this is how I landed here :)

Hi all,

I've found your site following a link by Stormbringer.
I hope to code again old-school stuff on actual hardware for fun. The last thing I've coded was an old fashioned intro for Vieumikro 2007 (retro computing collectors meeting held in Toulouse by Silicium association) for ECS Amiga using an outdated version of Asm-One (Promax's first version if I remember right).

Thank you for your welcome.
I've started digging the forums to find some startpoint to deal with a simple asm or C framework and a nice Amiga mod player source code.

Welcome Den and Ktulu.

Amiga demos rock - I can't code them myself, but I hold Amiga demo coders in high regard.
