Just downloaded the new Windows Media Player - 11... boy, really gives you a good view of what Vista will look like, and I'm loving it!

Jim installed Vista and had loads of problems with it at first.. I think he has it working properly now, the general consensus here seemed to be that most people were going to wait until it was a lot more stable and straight forward to instal before they attempted it. I think I'd have concerns about what might work and what wouldn't after the installation.

WMP11 is OK.   I'm still bemused by the fact every version since WMP4 has meant you can only have one media player open at a time.  If I'm listening to a CD and someone sends me a funny email with a video in and I click the video, the CD stops playing!  Why is that?

Vista is now solid for me after reinstalling.  The only crash I've has was some dodgy url got in the history and every time I typed a url into the address bar that made it appear in the auto-complete, IE crashed.  Cleared out the history to fix that.

STILL no ATI video driver that supports OpenGL.  COME ON ATI, you've got a week 'til Vista's launch!

Definitely give Vista a few months, unless it comes pre-installed on a new PC.
