Here is my first post & DBF logo (i spoke to shock a couple of weeks ago about this)

Anyway i'd like to give shock and/or other moderators here the chance to use this logo maybe in an adtro of somekind!

Otherwise any DBF member can use it for their productions.

I guess someone will say this is Dark Bit Factory forum (GVY) and not Dark basic as they also use a pyramind in their logo but i didn't think about that till later anyway just so u know i thought about the conflict ;)

That logo is just awesome. I am very impressed. The logo is in a perfect cracktro-style.
I really like it ... very well done.

It is your first logo at all or do you have any other reference artwork online available !?

i've been doing graphics a long time for lots of different ppl! i don't really have much on line and i am currently re-doing my gallery section on my website.

I've done a few things on intro-inferno with codeman (apod 1 & 2 and who knows maybe 3 ;)), ascii mag (oldskooluk). I've also done a couple of logos for postmort3m also on inferno just been looking at my profile on there and it ain't logging the logo's i've done in the prods i'll have to look into that!

@rain_storm

I use xara xtreme this is not to be confussed with the other ready made logo packages xara do, it's a full fledged vector/bitmap image editing program which i've been using for years

been having another play around with this logo tonight wasn't happy with a few bits of it here's v2 ;)

added lighting to top of each letter also added bevel on edge where the rust/metal texture is.
added a four point star instead of 3 point just to keep symetry and so i could add the artifical lens
flare!

if anyone wants to use this it can be resized alterd anyway you need ;) also any graphic format you require even 256 colour bmp (shocky) lol:)

@rain_storm the texture i used is actually this one "skin2.jpg" tho i entirely agree it does look sandy ;) (included the texture incase you wanna use it ;))

very cool and amazing oldskool cracktro like logo !!! you have my full respect!

Yeah, the new (second) versions looks much better.... the DBF chars are now in an own seperate color as the second word... now all chars are looking like to have a little glass fx on the border... and the colored thing on top of the pyramide... really nice with loved details! keep on your great work! :)

Amazing what a little extra work can do this new one jump out to grab attention  :D that deserves a karma boost thanks for supplying the texture sarek :cheers:

I liked the pyramid very much , you know , because I am Egyptian man I must be appear in your logo beside the pyramid. ;D
