Cool stuff!

If there was a way of editing out the background of some of these videos and flatshading the breakdancers these images would look awesome in a newschool demo.

Probably lots of stuff like that around.

This reminds me that when I went to see Tetra, he told me about a program he wrote that could detect what parts of a live video image had changed from frame to frame.

I'd bet that if we had video of someone breakdancing over a static backdrop (not a crowd moving around) that it could be done.

there're a whole bunch of motion capture files ... perhaps this could be used in some kind of demo stuff ??! Although I don't know how it could be realized ... anyway :)

Thats the same kind of thing I thought, Tetra's method was using a neural net to do it I think to actually get the complete flat shaded oputline of the person.
It's beyond my capabilities though. Maybe someone cleverer could have a crack at it.
