Neo Game
« on: November 07, 2007 »
Hmm.
Having a look at all my broken projects makes me sad. I am thinking of finishing most (or all!) of them. (I guess I'll finish them sooner or later  :xmas:)

I have been offered a full time job at the radio station I work at (Music Director). Basically I'll do two days of the Radio, and two days of Commercial *Guy*. So... I thought... and thought... and finally decided to do this - while trimming down my uni to part time (one subject a semester - focusing on IT).

Since I will have all of this free time (not taking work home with me... and after PS3 and XBox have been satisfied  :)) I will either be sleeping... listening to music... making music with either ACID Pro 6 or FL Studio 7 (yay)... or programing in the one language I have grown to adore and love - Yabasic. I don't know what attracts me to the simplest language I have ever seen... but I like it! :P

I'll try and finish the games. And if - and only if I finish - I will bark onto a new leaf, and turn over a new branch to make a new one :P   using the best of my knowledge to create *what I hope* will be the best game I have done :D
--If anyone can think of any spunky ideas... shoot them over!

Thanks. (sorry for the ramble!)

I dunno, PS3 Ratchet & Clank comes out here next week.  I suspect all development efforts will be temporarily cancelled...:)

Haha. Yeah I just got FL Studio XXL Pro... finishing uni soon so I thought - why not! It is indeed the bomb. Easy enough to make a great tune.

I tried ACID Pro 6, but... I think the 'whiteness' of it all makes it seem like... well I don't feel as 'music producer' when I use it  :P

My best friend got me into it. Im using FL7 as well. Never tried acid but what I really like about FL is we can record ourselves on the electric and bass guitars and slot that into a sample. we tried recording the drums as well but we had to use a microphone which doesnt do it justice. Congrats on the radio job nice to see your keepin yourself busy
