hello guys.... i am back and i am sorry for the long delay... i had try to code my first 1k intro ever and released it at BP for the 4k intro compo. (so special thanks to Jim for his great support and spending hours of his sparetime to help me! without the help of this great guy the intro would not exist! thanks my friend!)

So i had to spend nearly the full night to get my project work and optimized to 1k... after this me and my girlfriend tried to get some sleep in my small car... ^^

The weather here isnt the best... raining, raining and again raining... until now we have seen the liveact by Reyn Ouwehand, which was really great and awesome! He alone played great music live, while using a sampler and using/playing different music equipments. If you can get, just download the video and enjoy it.

Some nice and awesome 4k intros (intros and procedural gfx) has been showed and released... For example their has been a "fr debris remake" like 4k intro (lns-4.096: Bits'n Pieces - Maytz/Loonies) and a 4k intro showing realtime a nice physic engine where you see falling and breaking bricks (h4voK - Archee). But if this is not good enough, i have seen possible the best 4k intro i have ever seen (Atrium - TBC & Loonies) .... This intro starts harmless with some modern styling 3d world creating and building a complex scene of a building (very nice and detailed building with lift but i dont want to see to much here... just check this out)

Btw, you can find this released on pouet now

"b-meise - muhmac" showed us how to create an 3d rendered ambeise in just 4k. But every awesome, was the entry "ixaleno - rgba" - it was really hard to belive this is only 4k... it looks like a photo and very nice detailed. Its a must to have seen!

At 19pm they started the animation/video compo where some nice productions was shown too. Even the last entry (dont remember the name atm) was very funny and awesome high quality rendered.

Since about 30 mins (now 21:30pm here) the scene awards are running...

Until now i have to say, its a again a damn cool and nice party with nice atmosphere and even good organisation and food !!

yes, seems many cars has been broken into... i dont understand why ppl are doing such a shit... i am happy me parked nearly in front of the party last night and nobody has broken into my car (however its an small fiat ^^)

A few minutes ago the photo compo has been showed... didnt see it complete, because we was outside the hall/party...  next comming all the great compos, we are sill looking for...

when having some luck, they will show my 1k entry (4k intro compo) again and hopefully this time with showing the messagebox and playing the music inside the 1k intro... (i really hope so, would be very cool!! even since i got some negative votes on pouet, where is the old buggy version (no music will be played) is available - i dont know why there is not the offiuial fixed version (like on the party net) available... hope someone will update my entry on pouet and ppl see that there is still some more as just only one simple effect as shown on the wall (like msgbox and music on XP machines). sadly i cant create an own account on pouet and have contacted the team via email....

in some mins we will possible eat something and waiting for next comming compos... party is really great and today even the weather is good... sun is shining and no rain...  the niht was very very cold outside the party (sleeped in a cold car and feeled a bit like frosted hehe :P)

good morning guys...
party hall is still filling.... after hours in the night/morning trying to open my car (it was very cold the night, that the doors on my car are frozen and their was no way to come into the car and getting our bed things)... we sleeped not much... its still cold here...

yesterday/the night the amiga demo compo was showed... as far as i remeber, their has been only 3 releases... (really not much) and the scenes looked like C2P 2x2 instead 1x1 c2P pixels.... (dont know why... so the screens looked very pixelated to me)

Next the PC compo with about 25 entries has been shown... the first shown entries doesnt looked great to me... but then they got better and better.... their was one fucking great demo, i forgot the name atm. 11am here and the prize giving should start but seems to be later..

I stayed up to watch the PC demo competition on the live feed and I agree with you Va!n, the last ones were really great though.

I think the winners should be;

Cocoon 1
Einklang 2
ASD 3

Also worth mentioning was the Ukscene allstars entry, it was really nicely done.
The cocoon demo was insanely good though, as good as anything I've seen for a long time.

Aloha, there where 6 AmigaDemos, overall nice stuff, the Pc Demo Compo was tooo long and like always the best showed up at the end.

Shad3 from Cocoon was nice, FR-Neuro had a nice Invit for NVScene and ASD kicked an awesome Demo like always. :D

I went home directly after the compos, and had no probs to get into my car, it had -6° and was really cold, after 1h20m i reached home. :D

So try to grab the latest releases if they are available, its worth. ;)

We didn´t managed to finish our AmigaDemo, now more time to improve stuff for Evoke or Buenzli. :D

c ya ;)

now beeing back at home, after 5 hour trip (insteed 2,5 hours)...  (needed 1hour for about 8 km length due fact of jam) and a lot of snow on some parts in germany... the party was really great and it was very nice to meet premium^paradise at the party *cool* ;)

why does we sleeped in the car? ok, their have been some possibilities to sleep in the hotels, partyhall... like under the tables and so... but due fact i am having massive sleeping problems since years, i even wake up at the smallest noise and cant sleep when their is the smallest noise... normally we wanted to sleep in a hotel to have a warm room, a nice bed to sleep and relax without all the noise from the party... sadly all sleeping possibilities are booked off... even in neighboar towns around bingen, the party place...

thats the reason we have tried to sleep outside the party, in my small car, where it was very cold... esp the last night when we had massive problems to get into my car... i drived about 30 mins arround to get it a little bit warm into the car, so we could try to sleep a bit ^^

hope to see some more guys from this great community next breakpoint :)
