It does remind me of the brilliant AMiga game "Flood" Which had a really ironic ending... I know, I played it through until the end :)

A vague memory of playing this game at a mates place one afternoon about 15-20 years ago was the inspiration for this effect.

I couldn't remember the name, or the look and feel, just the concept.

I just spent the couple of hours trying to get WinUAE up and running.  I can find the emulator, and the game, but not the kickstart ROMs.

As long as you own an Amiga then you are entitled to own the rom.
Therefore if you have an Amiga, send me a PM with a valid  email address and I'll send you a rom and then you can play flood again :)

Thanks for the offer, but I have it sorted out.  Much appreciated.

I played it for about 5 minutes last night, not really long enough to form an opinion or garner some more ideas.

Well, thank you. :) The kart game was a team project that has been abandoned. I've started another racing game using the experience I gained making that kart thing though.
