Are the computers in the long list above the ones you're looking for, or the ones you have?

I have an Amstrad CPC464 which might be available if my wife will part with it, and an Amiga with a floppy disk drive, but no boot disk. I'll have to check which model it is.

The Amstrad has a monitor, and I have a second modified Amstrad monitor which works with the Amiga.

If you want them, I am in Doncaster. I'll find out how much it will cost to send them.

Thanks for the post and the offer of the machines, the long list is the machines I have but I am always looking for duplicates as eventually one will go pop! (Although some bits are very easy to fix!).
I could always pick them up from you if it is ony in doncaster? Not too far to travel for nice computers!

Nice list of machines!  Gotta say though, for a museum based in the UK you HAVE to get some RISC OS based machines - they're the birth of ARM processors, and born right here in the UK! *sigh* I miss my old A3000.

Sorry - I knew there was a machine missing, I have an Acorn Archimedes A3000 - it has the hard drive removed and a  Compact Flash card in place . . . loads really quickly and is full some great software.

Ah, sweet!

(btw, hard drives were optional extras on the A3000 - the OS is stored on a ROM chip which is why it loads so fast )

How about the 3do was a great console (the first fifa game i ever liked)
shame about the software support
alas i no longer own one sold it with some other bits n pieces due to having to move oh well

Interestingly, the CTO of 3DO company was RJ Mical, one of the engineers who's name is etched on the inside cover of every A1000 Amiga

Hey DrewPee I was thinking it would be extra cool if you had some original cracktros to display running on the original hardware in your museum. It would be like a first for the demoscene. Just a thought.

The C65 was sort of released . . . there are only a few in existence, one of my firends has a fully working one but with a slightly poorly keyboad, it was the alternative to the amiga . . . they were designed at the same time as each other.

The other Amigas are A500, A500+, A600, A1200 and CDTV . . . nice!

No I haven't got an Atari Falcon - still looking for one of those . . .

Yeah i totally agree that would be fantastic . . . I agree that some cracktros, intros, demos etc would be fantastic . . . Alcatraz Odyssey, Jesus on Es etc and some of the amazing stuff like that, some of demos/intros by northstar/fairlight, kefrens (Desert Dreams - One of my personal favourites), red sector etc. would be great - do we have many members of the the original groups on here? I would be honoured if anybody wrote a demo or two (eventually) to run on new hardware for the museum when we get it open? Any offers for that? Something retro . . . but cool . . .

Hi, I'm having a big clearout atm and wondering if you'd be interested in any of this. Wasn't really wanting to get rid of some of it but it'll just sit at the back of a cupboard for years:

Amstrad cpc6128 (disk drive not working but I'm pretty sure it's just the drive band)
+monitor
+other stuff like plug in drum machine and mouse+interface and speech synth.

Amiga monitor, got it with A2000 but no longer have the machine.

Acorn Electron in a bit of a sorry state.

Handhelds?  neogeo pocket colour

there's some manuals,software/games and magazines for that stuff too and there might be some other bits n pieces.
