Awesome entry, real talented work. You have used a lot of time to code and think this up.
Thanks

I enjoyed making this one, but it was hard to work out when to stop and where to put things. Initially the bubbles were going to float in front (big) and behind (small) the dragon on the bridge, but that looked a little silly. I then thought if I put them with the plasma is would add to the bubbly, flowy, lava type effect, so that's where I put them.
Very clever page switcher thingy.
I was surprised how easy that was to implement. I knew I wanted an effect like that and prepared myself for a lot of head scratching but my first attempt at the algorithm worked. I'll be releasing the full source and associated files for these demos as soon as I've written up some comments to explain where my warped mind was coming from

Flowers seem a bit like inspired from the last rbz prod.
Although similar, they're not in the same league. I knew I wanted something to spin around but wasn't sure what. I considered using the skulls from an earlier demo, but that wouldn't sit well with the overall feel of the demo. In fact, nothing photographic would. When I realised I needed some sort of regular shape I dropped into photoshop and looked at the standard shapes. That one seemed to fit nicely and with a radial gradient fill over the top of it, it worked quite nicely. RBZ's flowers were generated on the fly whereas mine are simply a rotated bitmap.
Gameboy 4ever!
Absolutely

Wonderful job Xalthorn!
I was just about to decide the voting candidates (atleast I thought so), but this prod really confused all my calculations
Thanks again, I love these challenges, they give me an excuse to relax and think outside the box for a few weeks. Not to mention it's amazing to see what other people come up with, a lot of the entrants this time have blown me away. Some simply because of the sheer impressiveness of them, others for the fact that the author hasn't been doing these things for very long, and even others for taking a totally lateral approach to the challenge.
