I never heard of this game, is it like Zelda or is it more of a conventional platformer?
It sounds very Japanese and quirky
Not necessarily a bad thing.
The trailer on amazon.com is of a very cool looking 3D platformer.
It was one of the first "2.5D" platformers (moving sideways along 3D levels, where turning corners into the background/foreground is done automatically). It's essentially your basic platformer with a couple of unique little gimmics and moves, and a few puzzles thrown in for good measure.
It's fairly easy as far as platformers go (and the remake looks like it gives you more health, but ballences it out with some 'uber tough' bonus levels or something) and you can finish it in well under three hours with a bit of practice (I reckon your first play through would take about 5 hours, excluding bonuses and replay value.)
Still it's a charming little game, and I would even dare to call it my favorite game of all time (despite stiff competition from manhunt, devil may cry 3, crash bandicoot 2 and killer7) because of the quirky puzzles, charming visuals and the truly stunning plot (no really, it's amazing.) I've no idea how much of this is going to come through on the remake though, I can only hope for the best.
