Sony (and others) may be thinking of using this sort of thing in games, there's also rumours of sony giving us 3d glasses which imo combined with headtracking would be pretty amazing.

there is one part where it looks like the girls skirt is putruding out of the tv. i think were in for some changes in the next few years for the better with 3dtvs, a possible 3d option being added into ps3 games and then mixing it with technology like this it makes you wonder what driving sims/shooter games might be like.

The only downfall is that this technique will only work for one viewer at a time unless you split the screen and give each viewer their own section.

Made one myself (last year) - the head tracking and the light pen.

Do not smoke or do not allow someone to smoke nearby you - wii will track that too - and get confused. Logically, it will track any possible high temperature source.
