New Razor1911 intro

I came across a new Razor 1911 64k intro on Pouet earlier that was released a couple of days ago. I think it's pretty neat, especially the post processing filter/shader that bends the image to make it look like it's on an old CRT screen. Music (by 4mat) is really cool too, it reminds me of some of the old tunes Estrayk/Paradox used to do.

Certainly has that oldskool feel, very nice indeed. Great CRT effect too. Nice lil' 64k intro.

It's an inoffensive intro but compared to the other 64kbs entered in that party it deserved last place.. works as a cracktro but not a winner intro..4mats tune is nice.

It definitely is one of the worst intro from rzr1911, I was disappointed... Farbrausch also did a crappy one :

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't think the Razor intro is worth the praise it's got.
The FR one is pretty uninspiring too.

Totally, they're only winning because they got a huge fan base and they're know from the public because of the crack they release. Some of their work is incredible, but they aren't consistent.

Yep, if "Pirates of the 777 seas" was a revelation for me (this is what made me code again!), I must admit that all their intros got the same feeling, the same concept. This is perhaps what make some of us disapointed by their new productions...

But this intro got some really kwel effects.  The old crt dithering is nice (better that the one in "we have accidently borrowed your votedisk", even if my graphic card is too slow  and like HotShot, the city light & tower with clouds are beautifull...
The colorfull traces of the glenz balls make me think about Sinclair Spectrum logos!!! 

fortunately the 4mat tunes are still so good!!! (The one from 777 seas is my phone song!!!)



NB: As always press:

• F1: demo realtime infos
• F2: debug mode (all quads in lines  )
• F3: enable/disable colors/rasterz effects
• F4: enable/disable CRT dithering effect

That's true, his music is always great!
