Fits the Cliche too!!!

LOL

New:
1. Now uses mappy as the map editor of choice. Uses converted maps from mappy. Pardon my map making skeelz. ;*)
2. Changed the tilesizes to 20 by 20 instead of 16 by 16 to accomodate the sizes of the tilesets made by Adigun Azikiwe Pollack.
3. Better looking all in all. And fixed some nasty bugs.

Very Cool, looks great and you got some nice effects in there too. Good job O0

It reminds me of the R-Type days on my GameBoy Original :)

Relsoft,
Thats very good - I especially like the 'greyscale' window and the top and bottom effects on the screen.
Looking forward to see what you do next!

Yes, that definately has a lot of R-Type feel to it, the background is much better than Rtype though which didn't even have paralax scrolling.
I had been wondering where you'd been Rel :)
Simply excellent, tremendous graphics too and the difficulty level is just right.

Thanks guys.  Haven't been coding a lot lately as my farm was underwater for a week and I'm also doing volunteer work to stop the oil spill that happend here. ;*(

New bullet patterns, new enemies, new segmented enemies have been added.  It's a lot faster now too. :*)

Also fixed the darn scale2x bug.

Will release a new build after I add a boss. :*)
 :||

BTW, some of the sprites are ripped from old SNES games. The background tileset is by Adigun Azikiwe Polack. AAP is tha maker of Dragon Dancer. :*)

Looking totally cool Rel :)
Sorry to hear that you've had flooding problems on your farm. I was wondering where you were. Hope it's all getting a bit more back to normal now.

Update!!!
Bullet hell stress test!!
I made this bullet hell engine for release as a stand alone lib.  But before I release this bullet hell lib, I think I will use it first in SI.
Easy to manage and automatic switches makes this bullet hell engine very flexible.  The tags I made in like 20 minutes of tweaking. Will add this to the boss of SI.

Move the mouse to make the targeting cannon change targets. :*)
Other cannons are fixed in their rotations.

Cripes! That's pure sickness! How the hell can anyone survive that sort of barrage? :) I hope it will be a little easier than that when the boss gets added.
Really impressive stuff again though.
