I hope it doesn't come to this. If a game is truely excellent, I'll buy it brand new, but often I'll buy a console towards the end of its retail life and stock up on cheap games.
Not a great contribution to the game industry, but I don't have a lot of cash, so I have to be very selective when it comes to buying new games.
