Impossible that you have a worst notebook than the one it was coded 
Anyway it worked on intel hd3000 and I believe it was opengl 3.1 and glsl 140.
Take a look on the console window, there is some shader log and info about your opengl/glsl version.
My actual PC it's a 2007 Core2Duo T5500@1,66GHz win Intel GMA945/950 notebook with 4GB-DDR2@667MHz, 1TB HDD, Windows XP... I WIN!

I need a faster, newer, better PC... (I know, you all know this config since I joined this board!

PS: no console window log, the demo hangs quite instantly, I'll take a look at some video grab, if any, as soon as it will be availabe... hmmmmm this could be a starting point for a future compo: where everything would be softrendered (no OpenGL, Shaders etc)... really oldschool, int13 & mode-x FTW
