Stax 32 remake
« on: April 15, 2024 »
Thsi has go to be the most complex remake i've done so far.  Lots of disassembled 68k code to plough through an convert.
Thanks go to STos for a more readable disassembly of the code and ripping the fonts. Cheers mate.
It's as close as I can get it as i'm a bit tired of looking at it  for now to be honest !!

Consists of the following
2 moving sinus lines.
Moving 4 field starbobs.
Funky text displayer with 9 different routines. With raster back.
Sinus distorted gold wave after every 10 lines of text (graduated in/out).
Big double x/y distored scrolltext with raster back.

I may post the code in the future if I can ever make sense of it.

[Edit]
Added a fullscreen option.

Hi KrazyK,

Always a good idea to take a step back and a break.  Hell I think my break from the twiddle screen was about 2 years if I had to take a guess, but It all clicked in a matter of a couple of days when I returned.

The last thing you want to do is slogg away making it not enjoyable as it will deter you from further great work.

All the best.

Yep, Cheers STos.
I've fixed a slight problem I noticed in the scroller, something I would probably only notice with looking at it so many times, and made it a bit more bendy like the original now after having a think about it.
I've kept the original spelling mistakes in the srolltext as well. It was so tempting to correct them though!! :-)
