Job offer
« on: October 06, 2006 »
Hi all,

I need to hire another 2 coders between now and Christmas. Its extremely unlikely anyone here is interested but just incase...
I need: C/Java and preferably some bizarre console experience or embedded systems or something similar.
Location: Wroclaw/Poland (thats why nobody will want the job I guess)
Job: Initially I'm looking for someone to do really cool demo type stuff on set top boxes. After that to help implement new technologies on set top boxes (like DVR, HDTV etc).

If anyone is interested enough to ask for full details, send me a PM.

Now that would interest me.

Although I often feel I have missed the train by not being a C/Java programmer.

Sounds like a great job!  I didn't realise you could do anything cool with those things.

I'm doing c/java games on mobile at the moment but enjoying it too much to jump ship, and country.

Yep,  I'm working for firemint.

Great company.  It's interesting trying to get the same code to work on so many devices.  I wish java really was cross platform :)

Yeah.  I learnt a lot of neat little tricks in the yabasic forum, especially from jim's and your code :)

Pitty i don't have so much motivation to do my own stuff at home anymore.  I plan on taking up asm demo stuff and i've started doing some music work too which is good fun.

I think I understand what you mean.. I guess that it's different when you program all day for a living.
I don't know whether I'd be too productive if my job was also my hobby.
