I have teamed up with Electric Druggies this time to make something for Defacto2.net to put in thier downloadable archives to replace the old intro they had.

This is just a preview to show what I had done with the liquorice allsorts effect.
I need to add a text writer to this to finish it.

Code : Shockwave
Gfx : Illusionmaker/Electric Druggies
Music Michu / Ravebusters

Gfx and music were created fresh for this intro... I am interested to see how compatible it is.. If you use more than one monitor I think you should run this windowed.

It's definitely cool!
A proper alpha-channel would remove the black pixels around the logo, but you probably didn't have the space...
The "texture" on the background doesn't work very well.

Still has the mousebutton press bug in it though.

Nice demo!  If I was gonna comment, I'd like to see the randomness of the firework fixed so they don't come out in a square shape and the perspective calc changed so it doesn't distort so much near the edges/corners of the screen.  It really looks good though!

my first thought as well.. and maybe tone down the colors on the allsorts a bit to make it fit a lil better with the background..

the background was really cool and the music rocked hard..
