Usually I do what I'm going to do tonight, which is take the dog out for a walk and watch a dvd with the missus :)
This last week I've been having a bash at the short intro challenge, I've even got another one half finished but like you there is no inspiration to finish it tonight :)

I usually play a bit of guitar, listen to music, watch some dvds. Or do something different like forgetting about the PC for a few days and go out with ya mates, it's allways nice to try and break what can become a monotony.

Mmm.. maybe I make a pause (by playing games or watching demos ;)), then I have more inspiration. Sometimes when it's personal (I am getting too anxious about things) I take a lonely walk and start thinking (or talking to myself) which tires me more sometimes. Then I sleep. Generally, I also had this "I want to code but I can't!" for a long periods, especially lately, but these 1-2 weeks I am back to coding for good as hell surprisngly. Fiddling with my 3d engine and preparing two-three demos (well one for the moment but more inside July :P). Though now I have exams but there are no plans with exams since the students are protesting here in Greece and the universities are closed, so the exams are postponed but I don't know what to do since I have to study because I don't know when my exams start (it can be anytime) but I want to code instead of studying though I have a bit of conflicts with my mother because of that ;P So, this situation doesn't make me moody for coding though I am lately surprisingly moody. So sometimes external problems doesn't let you do your thing, sometimes though internal problems.. (maybe I have some fear that makes me anxious about being anxious with coding ;P) Blah blah..

"it's allways nice to try and break what can become a monotony."    <------ i like that, break the monotony....    lately i've been thinking about buying a car, a junky car to work on, maybe rice out or something... on the days where i just dont feel like coding, then when it runs, i can go cruise on those days

Here lately, I go out side and horse around on a trapoline we have.... That or taget practice w/ a lil BB gun.... I used to go out and roughly off road my Jeep when it would start w/o having to be jumped....

Sometimes I just go into a meditative state, stopping what thoughts I can.... Just deppends....

@Dazza - I know mate, just joshing.

Some one once told me that Red Wine And Coca Cola goes well together.

Another thing I do during in quotes, Brain Down Time, is look back over my earlier releases and see how much I've improved or how I could go about doing certain aspects differently.

Red wine and cola is a popular drink in the Czech republic, my family have friends living there and they drink a lot of that.

So the red wine gets you pissed and the coke gives you the energy to crawl home I presume??   :)
